At Earls Colne Primary School and Nursery, we believe that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity.
The school values and celebrates the uniqueness of each person.
We believe that every individual should be treated with fairness, dignity and tolerance, irrespective of their individual differences.
We aim to provide the opportunities and climate whereby every individual has the same opportunities to develop a strong sense of self-worth and self-esteem. In addition, all are given equal opportunities to achieve their potential.
It is the responsibility of everyone within the school to take positive steps to create an ethos whereby these aims will be met.
Our Equality Objectives:
- The attendance rates of disadvantaged children will improve year-on-year to meet a target of ninety-five percent by the end of 2019 (ongoing objective from 2016).
- To accelerate the progress of girls in maths so that it is in-line with boys by the end of 2019.
