At Earls Colne Primary School and Nursery we strive to ensure that all children enjoy a rich and varied experience at our school.
By providing a broad range of learning opportunities through our curriculum, we aim to ensure that each child is able to achieve their potential at the end of each school year.
Our curriculum is designed to allow children opportunities to develop, practise and utilise skills and knowledge that will prepare them for their futures. We adopt a cross-curricula approach to learning as we believe that it is through making links in their learning that children learn best.
Due to the size of our year groups in Key Stage 2, a two year rolling scheme of work is followed. Year A is the 2018-2019 academic year and Year B is the 2019-2020 academic year.
We believe that every child matters and that everyone should be encouraged to challenge themselves to be the best that they can in all areas of school life. As a result, at Earls Colne our curriculum is organised to ensure that we are: Inspiring all children to create and achieve.
