Egyptian Day
On Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th November, Year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to take part in a ‘History off the Page’ Egyptian experience! All children enjoyed participating in everyday Egyptian activities including: making lamps, amulets, perfume cones and creating authentic embalming ointments for mummification.
In the afternoon, the children prepared for the Royal Court celebrations to celebrate the appointment of a new High Priest of Aten. They enjoyed the entertainment provided by dancers, actors and storytellers but the food and drink served by the slaves was the highlight!
Special thanks to everyone that supported us on both days.
